Analysis and assessment

The Danish Centre for Environmental Assessment performs environmental assessments for and in collaboration with external partners with a focus on improvement potentials and a broad understanding of environmental aspects. In addition, we conduct evaluations of the use of environmental assessments.

Examples of analyses and assessments conducted by the Centre include:

• Guidelines and example catalogue related to environmental assessment of plans and programmes (performed for the Danish EPA)
• 'Life Cycle Assessment' of aluminium (performed for the Greenland Self-Government)
• Evaluation of Environmental Impact Assessments, or EIAs (performed for the Danish EPA)
• Carbon Footprint of Aalborg University (performed for the environmental management group at AAU)
